Boat Trip to Giftun Island

Enjoy a fantastic day snorkeling trip to the natural park of Giftun Island and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea, rich with colorful fish and aquatic life.

Pick up time from your hotel at 08:00 am Departing from your hotel in Hurghada or the nearby El Gouna Resort you will be taken to the port and board the boat. From there it is a brief 45-minute ride across the beautiful waters of Egypt’s the Red Sea to the National Park at Giftun Island. The desert island paradise of Giftun Island offers a wonderful day of relaxation and play. Sit back and soak up the sun, or put on the snorkeling gear and jump into the crystal clear waters. Explore life below the surface. The waters of the Red Sea are teaming with aquatic life, colorful fish, and beautiful corals, all ready for you to explore. You may even be lucky enough to swim with the dolphins that call these waters home. For the more active, the island also offers a range of water sports for you to enjoy. A lovely lunch will also be served on board the boat. In the afternoon it is time to jump back on the boat and make your way back to port, from where you will be taken back to your hotel.

Orange Bay Giftun Island – Full Day

Full Day

Enjoy a relaxing day swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing on a boat cruise to Orange Bay Giftun Island from Hurghada where you will discover crystal clear blue water of the Red Sea, lagoons and colorful coral reefs.

Pick up time 8.00 am (exact details will be confirmed locally), drive  to the marine jetty where you will get on the boat. Sail for (45 mins) by boat towards the east of Hurghada, until reaching the first place which is actually a perfect site to snorkel or just swim where a lot of coral reefs and fishes are there. Then continue to sail towards Orange Bay (Orange Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches located near Hurghada). You will spend there around 2 hours to enjoy and see an amazing white sand beach, the island offers all kind of reliable services to make you feel at home and offers a special play area for children. Then continue to sail to go for the second spot for snorkeling after relaxing for 2 hours on the island, where you are going to make a second stop for a great snorkeling or swim. Lunch will be ready on the boat before making the last stop (each stop about 45 mins). By the end of the day, you will sail back to the jetty of Hurghada (around 4.00pm) where you will find the van waiting to give you a lift back to your hotel.

Dolphin house and snorkeling

Full Day (around 6 hours)

The famous Dolphin House area, where a large number of dolphins can be found swimming in their natural environment. Spend about 1.5 hours sunbathing before you reach the Dolphin House. Here, if Mother Nature is accommodating, you will see dozens of dolphins playing in the water and swimming alongside your boat. If the weather allows, you can even jump in and observe them. Experience the dolphins in their natural habitat, living away from the constraints of an artificial pool and controlled environment. Observe their normal behavior; if they choose to come and play with you, it’s according to their will. The area is ideal for snorkeling.  Admire the beautiful corals and a multitude of exotic fish far from the tourist crowds. You will make a total of 3 stops in different locations. A small buffet lunch is also served on board. Cruise back to the pier for your transfer back to your hotel in Hurghada in the late afternoon
