Arrival to Safaga, you will be met by our representative and your Egyptologist and start your drive to Luxor.
Arrive Luxor and start your tour by the impressive Karnak Temple, known as the “Temple of All Temples.” See the obelisks, the sacred lake, and the great hypostyle hall. Lunch.
Then continue to the West Bank of the Nile and the wondrous Valley of the Kings, a vast city of the dead, where you will visit at least 2 tombs carved deep into the desert rocks.
Continue to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut built by a female pharaoh, the temple shows series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it.
On the way, stop at the famed Colossi of Memnon, two 66ft, 1 thousand ton statues of Amenhotep III. These colossal statues were known by the ancient Greeks to emit haunting voices at dawn. Continue driving to Safaga to rejoin your cruise.
